Dr. Finn earned her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School after completing her undergraduate studies at Stanford University. She went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School, followed by fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Duke University Eye Center.

During her fellowship, Dr. Finn received the Ronald G. Michels Fellowship Award, an honor recognizing outstanding fellows in vitreoretinal surgery. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.

Dr. Finn has published numerous research articles on retinal diseases and emerging approaches to diagnosis and treatment. Her work has included new techniques for macular hole surgery, intraoperative OCT imaging, and the study of biomarkers associated with atrophy and scarring in macular degeneration. She has a particular interest in surgical innovation and advanced retinal imaging.

At Middle TN Eye, Dr. Finn brings highly specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal tears and detachments, and other diseases of the retina and vitreous.
